Bodoni Type Book is a self-initiated editorial project that explores the intricacies of the iconic Bodoni typeface. In this project, I delved into the type's anatomy, emphasizing its unique proportions and design features, while showcasing its impact on various design applications. The book also provides insight into the historical influences that shaped Bodoni’s evolution and the legacy it has left in the world of typography. A comparative analysis of Bodoni and other prominent fonts underscores its distinct qualities. I also incorporated two carefully selected quotes, seamlessly integrated with Bodoni’s visual style, to offer further depth and inspiration. The cover design, drawing from Calvin Klein's use of Bodoni, pulls the entire project together, creating a cohesive and visually captivating exploration of typography.
