Chase Design: Retail Skin Care Display
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I faced the unique challenge of designing a safe and engaging retail skincare display for Target. Keeping health and hygiene a top priority, I implemented several innovative features:
Touch-free navigation: Eye-catching graphics guided customers through the display, eliminating the need for physical contact.
Easy product access: Upon entering the display, a prominent QR code linked directly to the Target app, allowing customers to browse and compare products digitally.
Clear categorization: The display was divided into designated sections for face, hands, and body, ensuring ease of navigation and product discovery.
Informed decision-making: Each section featured sample products alongside informative cards, encouraging customers to touch and scan only the items they were interested in purchasing.
This innovative approach successfully addressed the safety concerns of the pandemic while still delivering a convenient and engaging shopping experience. It's a testament to the power of design to adapt and thrive even in challenging circumstances.
